Artist’s reception: March 6th from 5-9 pm
“Pilous” represents the texture and the atmosphere of the new works by Jessica Schramm. The paintings are explorations of seclusion and loneliness. The animals are representatives of awkward human interactions and the misty atmosphere creates a somber tone.
Cara Harjes current works are based on her profession as a psychotherapist. Her paintings explore the light and whimsy of life even surrounded by darkness. Her use of color and free stroke create dynamic images that leave an impression.
