Opening Reception: Friday, June 26, 6-10 pm
We all found our inspiration somewhere. Be it Van Gogh or Picasso or Pollock, we can all remember that one master we not only loved, but who inspired us to create. Some go through a cubist period after discovering Picasso, or have fun with surrealism after seeing a Dali exhibit? In the spirit of that, we’re having a show featuring pieces that were inspired by one of the greats. We’re not talking exact replications but rather works that were clearly inspired by one of The Masters.
This year’s Master’s Show will be juried by Elizabeth Licence, former director at Kanon. Elizabeth is also an artist, art teacher, and former president of the Colorado Art Educators Association. So yeah, she’s got an eye for art 😉
Submission deadline: Wednesday, June 17 at midnight.
