For her inaugural solo exhibition with Kanon Collective, Selina Marcantonio presents Sneaking Into Your Dreams. With shifting styles and subjects, this new collection of oil paintings was made to bring to life a dream. The role of subconscious influence is depicted in the imagery of the natural world, with intimate feelings portrayed in the color and grace of the figure. From the subconscious filtered through the conscious mind and translated into the physical, this exhibition portrays the story of a dream, its creation, and symbolical meanings.
