If you come for the opening reception, we’ll have a fun craft project where you can make your own Dia de los Muertos ornament. Also, the 40 West Arts District will have a lot of other events for their annual Dia de los Muertos Art Crawl.

This show is a series of pieces I’ve made from birch and basswood. It includes pieces that combine my love of some of Denver’s most beloved retro buildings and signage with my pop art style. The pieces involve photography and digital illustration, then laser cutting and engraving, and finish with painting. In addition to these, I’ve made some pieces of my favorite movie/TV quotes and pop icons.
