A Glimmer is a small moment of happiness, perfection, enjoyment, appreciation, or hope. Unfortunately, they are often missed in the business of everyday life. The art show Glimmers is based on a challenge I gave myself to help myself recover from my husband’s death. My challenge was that for an entire year, 365 days, I would find a glimmer and create a piece of artwork to really focus on the feelings. Finding these moments began to be very natural over time, and documenting even the difficult ones was helpful to me. I do not have all 365 pieces on display, but as items leave the gallery, I will fill the holes with new glimmer pieces so the show will evolve and change while it is up. (Out-of-state purchases will be mailed after the conclusion of the show.)
